Cynthia Bailey and Mike Hill’s Wedding: Peek at the Decor

After saying “I do” on October 10, Cynthia Bailey and Mike Hill had the most lavish setup to celebrate with their loved ones.

As seen in photos and videos posted to Instagram from the big day, The Real Housewives of Atlanta couple’s reception held at the Governors Towne Club in Acworth, Georgia, featured jaw-dropping details including luxe candles, gorgeous chandeliers, and a silver balloon display adorning a grand staircase where guests including Eva Marcille, Kenya Moore and Quad Webb posed for photos.

Of course, there was no shortage of places for a photo op throughout the night. In addition to a photo booth, guests gathered in front of a stunning floor-to-ceiling white flower wall featuring the couple’s custom logo, an intertwined “C” and “M.” Hundreds of flowers were placed in different areas around the venue, including a vibrant floral arrangement decorating a prop tub as part of a custom Seagram’s Escapes drink display.

The blue carpeted dance floor, where Mike and Cynthia spent plenty of time throughout the evening, was covered in social distancing dots. “Usually, my concern before the wedding would be more focused on a lot of the aesthetics of the wedding. However, because we are getting married in a pandemic, the focus has turned to: Do we have the thermometers for the temperature checks? Do we have sanitizer stations?” Cynthia told PEOPLE prior to the big day. “We aren’t messing around.”

In addition to spacing out seating and hiring a team to deep clean the venue, Cynthia told PEOPLE that she and Mike would require guests to sign a COVID-19 waiver and undergo temperature checks. In an interview with Extra, Cynthia shared that they would also be “enforcing masks and face shields.”

Mews House With Fireplaces, Garden on Cobble Hill’s Verandah Place Asks $10,500 a Month

Verandah Place must be one of the most photographed little streets of Cobble Hill, and the 19th century brick homes that line it are a huge part of its charm, along with its position overlooking Cobble Hill Park. One of those little houses, No. 6, is up for rent. While the total monthly nut is not exactly modest (though there is some room for negotiation, we hear), it does include four floors of living space.

Not all of the houses on this scenic stretch in the Cobble Hill Historic District were built as stables; some were originally single-family homes, as is the case here. This particular pre-Civil War house belongs to journalist Cara Greenberg, who pens Brownstoner’s Insider column.

In addition to the 19th century features, such as marble mantels and two wood-burning fireplaces, there are some nice design touches in the kitchen and baths, as befits an interior-design writer.

The house is set up with living room and study on the parlor level; kitchen, dining, full bath with washer/dryer and bedroom above; and three more bedrooms and another full bath on the top floor. The garden level has a third full bath and two rooms that could be used as work space or more bedrooms as needed.

The kitchen has custom maple cabinets, granite counters, an apron-front sink and bright green tile backsplash. The one bath pictured is on the skylit top floor, and it has green mosaic tile work and white fixtures.

There’s also some outdoor space: A stone-paved rear garden includes planting beds and room for outdoor dining.

Listed by Zoe N Saaf, Cara Sadownick and Cheryl Nielsen-Saaf of Corcoran, the house is renting for $10,500 a month. What do you think?

Kirtland Hills home is truly presidential with Oval Office replica: House of the Week

KIRTLAND HILLS, Ohio — Have you ever imagined what it’s like being President of the United States?

Imagine no more. The newly listed home at 8405 Sanctuary Drive offers a truly unique work-from-home situation with a full-sized replica of the Oval Office.

“The owners, Lou and Carolyn Fidanza, are avid history buffs, particularly presidential history,” says Realtor Jenifer Black with the Black Diamond Group, Howard Hanna. “Their interest in the Oval Office began in 2005 with a visit to the Gerald Ford presidential library in Michigan where they spent six hours in the replica taking notes and measurements.”

Construction of the oval office, located in the attic of the home and accessible by elevator, began in 2015 and took five years to complete.

“Each president puts his own touches on the Oval Office decor, and this one is based on the presidencies of Barack Obama and George W. Bush, whom Fidanza believes had the most attractive oval office designs,” Black says.

The room includes a reproduction of the Resolute Desk, rug with the presidential seal, replica of the famous “Bronco Buster” sculpture, and artwork used during the Obama and Bush eras.

Lou Fidanza believes his oval office is “the finest replica in a private residence in the country.” So good, in fact, producers of Tyler Perry’s BET drama “The Oval” purchased some of the molds Fidanza used to create the bookshelves, fireplace, corbels, and presidential seal for their replica of the White House.

But the one-of-a-kind room isn’t the 9,600-sq. ft. mansion’s only selling point. Built in 2000 on five wooded acres, the home boasts six bedrooms, eight bathrooms (five full), and six fireplaces. Highlights include a grand entry with a 19-foot ceiling, dramatic staircase and crystal chandelier, plus beautiful hardwood floors, a large eat-in kitchen, covered patio, and in-ground pool.

New to the market, the home is available for $2,695,000.

Cynthia Bailey & Mike Hill’s 10/10/2020 Wedding Champagne Flutes

Cynthia Bailey and Mike Hill are ready to celebrate their upcoming marriage with the fanciest personal touch.

On September 6, The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member shared a photo on Instagram of two champagne flutes, both engraved with their planned wedding date, October 10, 2020. While one of the glasses had Cynthia’s name above the date, the other had Mike’s. “God’s timing, not mine. God’s will, not mine,” she captioned the photo. “God’s plan, not mine. God’s glory, not mine.” Cynthia also added the hashtags: “2020″ and “C Hill.”

The luxe stemware for the couple will likely be just one of many elegant details of the big day. While it’s unclear how the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak may have impacted their wedding plans, Cynthia and Mike’s wedding and event planner Courtney Ajinca told Page Six in early March that the celebration would be “simple and elegant when it comes to terms of design, but it’s going to be very grand. Just a very sexy and grand wedding.”

Cynthia also recently opened up about how she’s preparing for the wedding in terms of her beauty routine. “10/10/20 is almost here! Getting all my beauty tweaks in before the big day!” she wrote on September 2. “Went to check in with [Dr. Doan] who came very highly recommended. First time visit with her, and I learned [a lot] from her evaluation & consultation. Ended up getting some botox in my forehead area, Remember, less is more!”

Last month, the couple celebrated another major milestone: Mike’s 50th birthday. For the special day, Cynthia presented her love with a white cake topped with miniature bottles of Patrón. She captioned a photo of the confection, which had silver icing artfully dripping down the sides, “‘I heard some people like to drink their dessert.’”
