Lauren Manzo Scalia Halloween Home Decor Inspired by Daughter

Though Lauren Manzo Scalia has pulled off some epic Halloween costumes in her day, the Manzo’d With Children alum isn’t a big fan of the spooky holiday. But alas, she has a little one at home who eagerly celebrates the day of candy apples and all things witchy. So, she’s willing to strike a compromise with her fall decor.

In a recent Instagram share, the New Jersey salon owner showed off the seasonal decorations sprucing up the exterior of her house. “I hate Halloween but [my daughter] Markie loves it … so I sprinkled a little Halloween into my Fall decoration LOL,” she wrote. And to clarify exactly what that means, Lauren wrote: “So just [one] ghost.”

To be fair, we also spotted some Halloween-y pumpkins and a witch mixed into Lauren’s autumnal decor. Elsewhere, the charcuterie-board maestro captured the essence of the season with hay bales, cornstalks, and a couple of prop scarecrows.

It’s official: Fall has arrived at Lauren’s doorstep.

Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert’s daughter born in bathroom, second time for couple

They could get used to this.

For the second time, also by surprise, R&B star Teyana Taylor delivered a baby in the bathroom at her home with husband Iman Shumpert, a longtime NBA player.

“At 3:28 am on Sept 6th 2020 Rue Rose decided that the baby shower thrown for her and mommy was too lit,” the proud papa wrote on Instagram Monday. “She didn’t make the party but she managed to make the next day her birthdate!!!”

Fittingly it was Labor Day weekend when Taylor went into labor, as unexpectedly as the first time, when she gave birth to daughter Tayla Shumpert Jr., nicknamed “Junie,” in 2015.

Back then Shumpert was caught off guard, and the 911 dispatcher talked the emotional father through the delivery. This time he was an old hand of sorts. He also has a new respect for what may just be the most important room in the house.

“Now…when we buy homes, we always find a bathroom with great energy,” Shumpert wrote on Instagram. “But not in a million years would you be able to tell me we’d deliver both of our daughters in a bathroom without the assistance of a hospital!”

Taylor had announced her pregnancy in her “Wake Up Love” video, featuring Shumpert and Junie, in June, reported CNN.

Shumpert, who once played for the Knicks and last year was with the Nets, was ebullient and not a little bemused by the second bathroom miracle.

“Our newest edition entered the world in the water and came out looking around and ready to explore!” he wrote. “A healthy child. A little sister. Another daughter. Black love wins….again. Welcome babygirl…we love you!”

The Source |Teyana Taylor Gave Birth to Her Second Daughter in Her Bathroom

Teyana Taylor and her baller husband, Iman Shumpert, welcomed the newest addition to their family on Sunday morning.

“At 3:28 am on Sept 6th 2020 Rue Rose decided that the baby shower thrown for her and mommy was too lit. She didn’t make the party but she managed to make the next day her birthdate!!!,” Shumpert, 30, wrote in the caption of a video of their baby girl, Rue Rose.

Just like her big sister Junie, Rue was welcomed into the world right on the bathroom floor.

“Now…when we buy homes, we always find a bathroom with great energy… but not in a million years would you be able to tell me we’d deliver both of our daughters in a bathroom without the assistance of a hospital! Our newest edition entered the world in the water and came out looking around and ready to explore,” the basketball player continued.

“A healthy child. A little sister. Another daughter. Black love wins….again. Welcome babygirl…we love you!,” Shumpert added.

Teyana Taylor previously mentioned that Erykah Badu was going to deliver her baby, but we’re not sure if she made it in time because baby Rue pulled up the day after the couple’s baby shower in Atlanta.

Father Creates Sunflower Garden to Honor Late Teen Daughter Who Lost Battle With Cancer

One man has taken his grief and turned it into new life as he has planted a garden to honor his daughter and wife who both passed away. Tony Brawner endured two heartbreaking losses. First, the passing of his daughter, Amy, from cancer when she was just 14 years old in 1997. Then, 12 years later, Brawner lost his wife.

He planted Amy’s Garden just last year to help him cope but now the sunflowers are now helping comfort Tony’s community.

About 40 people a day come by “Amy’s Garden” in Tennessee.

“I don’t want to be bitter, I have been at times, I’m not gonna deny that,” he admitted to Inside Edition Digital.

The garden was one way for him to process his loss and keep his loved ones close but also helping others enjoy the flowers with his daughter as the part of nature coming from the ground and her mom always close by as the butterfly in the area.

“I have a lot of faith and trust God’s plan is the way to go,” he said.
