After fierce competition and loads of entries, we have selected our five finalists (see below) whose videos will be shown at Madison Square Garden at the Israel Festival during the Knicks Maccabi Tel Aviv Exhibition Basketball Game benefiting Migdal Ohr. During the Israel Festival, which will be in full swing before the game in MSG, the audience will be asked to select their favorite video whose creator will be awarded by the America Israel Friendship League with a round trip flight from Israel to NY or NY to Israel.
Israel’s Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv faces off against the Knicks October 11th at 7:00PM in an exhibition game at Madison Square Garden to benefit Migdal Ohr. Maccabi became the first international team to win on North American soil in 2005 when they defeated the Toronto Raptors at the Air Canada Centre.
The Israel festival begins at 5:30PM featuring Israeli music, face painters, stilt walkers, balloon twisters, and most importantly- our video finalists. Remember, you must purchase a ticket for the game to join the festival and vote on your favorite video.
Tickets for the exhibition game can be purchased at TicketMaster outlets, the Madison Square Garden Box Office and nyknicks.com.
And without further ado, here are our finalists:

I like the first one the best. It will confuse Americans less or wonder what its all about.
The little girl was cool, although they may confuse it with a “home made video” that got lucky on the big screen, rather than a call to visit Israel.
Just my two shekels.

Goooooooo Amanda!!!
Best of luck to both Maccabi and Knicks - and all who entered this Israel YouTube contest.
Keep uploading positive Israeli videos and photos to YouTube and Flickr.

“anyone can scream come to israel on top of cliff”
- Hey that “anyone” is an international media consultants little girl. That “anyone” was more REAL than old stock photos with a dusty soundtrack. That “anyone” has had more hits and traffic than most YouTube videos.
A pretty, little girl with an Israeli flag, a shaky camera overlooking Jerusalem - that’s reality - that’s what people want.
Lastly, I really do not care to win this contest. Just contributing makes me and my daughter winners! :>
Try to stay positive and work here as a team for Israel!

My vote goes to the little girl. It was clean, honest and refreshing. People love babies and children. And the home video effect was more real than the dozens of flashing pictures.

It’s so refreshing to see an innocent young child invite the world to Israel. It seems the YouTube audience agrees because Amanda has 750 hits in just 2 weeks and she’s ranked amongst the top 5 in a YouTube search of “Israeli Tourism”.
