Year-Round Skiing in the Galilee

We know what you’re thinking:  Skiing in Israel?  Sure, Israel is warm, sunny, and home to great beaches, but developers near Mount Gilboa in the Galilee are betting that the region can be home to a new ski venue that will be open year-round, beginning next year. Though you can already ski on Mount Hermon, it’s only an option during the winter months–a problem this venue will attempt to remedy.
Oh, and if you think Israelis don’t know anything about snow, they’ve already sold snow-making equipment to Switzerland, according to Ynet.
