What’s the World’s 3rd Largest Sporting Event?

We’ll give you three hints. It draws more than 10,000 athletes from 60 countries around the globe. It starts July 13. Oh, and it takes place in Israel. Can you guess?
The Maccabiah Games, also known as the Jewish Olympics, is an international competition held once every four years. This year, more than 900 American athletes are set to compete, including Olympic gold medal swimmer Jason Lezak. (He’s the one who made the fastest 100-meter lap in history and helped Michael Phelps achieve his record eight gold medals). In fact, Lezak is skipping the World Championships to instead compete at the Maccabiah Games as a tribute to his Jewish heritage.
We’ll be cheering him on!
