We All Screme for Ice Cream

New Yorkers are getting a cool treat from Israel just in time for the hot days of summer. JPost reported last month that the Israeli ice cream/gelato chain Aldo’s will be opening up several new stores in New York (they’ll be known here as Screme).
From what we’ve seen on JPost and Israel21C, there’s already a store open on the Upper West Side and two more stores coming soon, with plans for more.  By the way, we shouldn’t neglect to mention that, because they serve gelato, not ice cream, it’s a bit healthier than some of the comparable products out there.  So if your sweet tooth has a hankering for a cold, sweet dessert, now you know where to look.
