Urban Beach in New York’s Central Park Celebrates Tel Aviv@100

As reported on Transracial, residents of New York City, Vienna, and Copenhagen have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit the Tel Aviv beach in their hometown. The beach in Vienna opened at the end of April for Independence Day and will remain open until September, while the beach in Copenhagen will be open from 9-14 August. The New York beach will be open for only one day, June 21 in Central Park, and will feature sun (we hope), sand, and Israeli rock-and roll to make the event New York’s hottest beach party of the summer. While the real thing still beats an urban beach, if Tel Aviv isn’t on your destination list for this summer, these events definitely should be.
If, for some reason, you can’t make it to Central Park on the 21st, we’ll post a webcast from the event on this site. We’ll post more information as it becomes available here and on Twitter.

Shalom Y’all- I’m going to Tel Aviv ,G-d willing, this August, as I have gone every summer. It’s my 57th trip to Israel. I say if it’s summer, I’m going to Tel Aviv!
Guaranteed sun & 88F temperature all summer. As for NY, we pray for sun & warm swimming weather, which sometimes happens. The minute you land in Israel, the forever blue sky and the sun will bring a smile to your face.
