A new Israeli film, which recently opened at the Film Forum, aims to help Westerners encounter Buddhist beliefs that many would find difficult. Unmistaken Child, directed by Nati Baratz, follows the journey of a young monk, Tenzin Zopa, as he looks to find the reincarnation of his master, Lama Kochong, who passed away in 2001. The journey takes place over a number of years until the proper child can be located. You can find more information about the film and the filmmaker in this Huffington Post article as well as on the movie’s website.
