Thousands of revelers came out to Tel Aviv last night in celebration of the city’s annual “White Night.” This year’s event was extra-special given the city’s centennial this year and many of the events and exhibits highlighted this anniversary. Some of the events taking place throughout the night included a nighttime tour by candlelight of the Trumpledor Cemetery (complete with “ghosts”), a concert by Arik Einstein, and an exhibit on the history of public transportation, by Egged. You can find more about the event in this Haaretz article. With so many events like these, its a wonder revelers had no trouble keeping their eyes open till dawn!
