We did not see this one coming! “Football” in Israel is just not that American sport involving throwing an egg-shaped ball. But apparently, that sport does have its fans in Israel, at least according to a report in Haaretz. While the article doesn’t detail any great popularity–yet–it holds out the promise of a growing clientele. We’ll leave it to you to decide whether this is a good import.
