Experiencing a vibrant gay and lesbian culture is not something that often comes to mind when planning a visit to Israel. Increasingly, however, American organizations have been sending LGBT missions to Israel and this year, for the first time, Young Judea and birthright israel will be offering their own LGBT-themed trips. JPost covers the growing appeal of these trips and Israel’s surprisingly progressive attitudes towards its gay and lesbian citizens.
