Rihanna Does Israel…Complete With Wardrobe Malfunction

Success in the music industry is often about branding. Not only does Rihanna have killer style, but she gets away with just going by her first name. The R&B singer recently spent some time in Israel before her performance at RockCorps on Sunday in Tel Aviv, where tickets are free for those who do community service.

According to their website, RockCorps “harnesses the power of music to inspire volunteering by producing concerts for which the only way in is to give 4 hours at a volunteer project.” The entire idea is pretty brilliant, and is a win-win situation when the outcome is helping others and getting to catch one of the world’s biggest acts. The blogosphere is lighting up with reports of Rihanna’s Janet Jackson-inspired “wardrobe malfunction.” If you’re looking for pics we apologize, but Isrealli doesn’t have the bandwidth for that much Rihanna!

Rihanna described her time in Israel as an “amazing, amazing experience” as it was her first time in the holy land. As part of the warm up to her concert, the R&B sensation volunteered to help paint a community center in Tel Aviv, reaffirming her commitment to public works.You can see pics of her at work with a brush here.

While volunteering is reward in its own right, Rihanna had plenty of time to don a bikini and hit up Israel’s beaches and just lounge by the pool.
