What’s the deal with hypnosis? Do we have any scientific idea how it works? And what does it do to the human mind? Those are just some of the questions McGill University professor and former magician Amir Raz has been trying to understand. This Sunday, as part of the Brainwaves series at the Rubin Museum of Art, Raz will talk with Geoffrey Shugen Arnold from the Fire Lotus Zendo in Brooklyn about the experience of mediation and hypnosis. You can find more information about the event here.
