Those of you who saw the recent release of Angels & Demons might be wondering who plays Vittoria Vetra, the female lead alongside Tom Hanks. Answer: Ayelet Zurer, one of Israel’s most critically acclaimed actresses who’s now begun to make a name for herself abroad. Not that this is her first movie; she’s quite the accomplished actress (with roles in Munich and Vantage Point among others), but somehow we just didn’t get to write about her until now. (We were also alerted to her celebrity status by an article in People Magazine.) We hope you enjoy the movie!

Ayelet Zurer was wonderful in the movie Angels & Demons – we loved her and the movie! We were very pleased and proud to hear that she is from Israel!
