Making Peace through Music

Music is often a universal language that can bring together people from diverse backgrounds, who sometimes can’t or don’t speak to each other. The mission of Notes for Peace, begun at NYU, is to bring together Jews and Arabs in Israel to promote tolerance and understanding. From the video above, the experience appears to be a learning opportunity for everyone involved–facilitators (on Spring Break, no less) and students alike.
