This week, the fifth-grade students at the Solomon Schechter School in Long Island decided to extend their thanks to Sandra Samuel. She made headlines recently for saving Moshe Holtzberg from the Mumbai Chabad house, in which both his parents were killed. They decided to write to Samuel as a way to do their part in making the world a better place. In the video above, student representatives share their letters with Israeli representatives who will ensure the letters reach Sandra. You can find out more about the event at EdLI, the Newsday education blog.
