Jerusalem’s Architecture Gets Hip
For more than 3,000 years, Jerusalem has been a city of spirits. But architects have always seen the Holy City as a place where beliefs could be transformed into architectural reality.
In recent years, Jerusalem’s landscape has changed dramatically. New buildings have popped up alongside synagogues, mosques and churches, including the most-talked-about Chords Bridge by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. Other projects include outdoor green spaces, boutique hotels, and high-end restaurants.
