Israeli Photos Join Rock-and-Roll Collection

Ever wonder who takes those great pictures of music stars (like the one above)? Oftentimes, the answer is Israel’s own Haifa-born Shahar Azran. Not only has he shot U2, his work has been in The London Times, Rolling Stone, US Weekly among many other magazines.
And now, his work has joined the Hard Rock Cafe’s photo collection. Last week, U2′s The Edge gave the Cafe one of Azran’s pieces following the Icons of Music II Auction benefit for Music Rising. (Last year some of his pics netted some $6,000 at auction!)
