Israeli Beer Makes its Mark

We’ve made a big deal on this site about the critical acclaim that has met Israeli wines. We’ve said less about about an equally popular beverage–beer. While the country may not yet be recognized as home to some great beers of the world, JPost today offers an introduction to the industry. The paper has a nice feature on the Negev Brewery and its beermeister Yochai Kudler who, it seems, has been getting some pretty good reviews for his work. This is some excellent news in advance of summer, when a cool beer goes a long way.
