In the midst of all the discussion of the upcoming Olympic Games in Beijing (which begin in just two days), you might have wondered about Israel’s delegation to this 29th Olympiad. Well, if you weren’t, we were. Our research found a few sites with information about Israel’s athletes and Olympic news.
Wikipedia’s page on Israel’s delegation has a list of the athletes–along with a timetable telling you when each will compete so you can watch them at home. Generous readers have also prepared a list of “box scores” so you can watch each athlete’s progress.
JPost and Ynet have pages dedicated to Olympics news. JPost has short bios of many competitors while Ynet has a gallery of pictures of many of the athletes.
Stay tuned for more and keep cheering for Israel!
