Helping You Save Money, Israeli-Style

In the current economic environment, people are always talking about how to save money for the things they really need. Now, we read in The Jewish Week about Thrive, where the goal is to help you save–and keep saving. Co-founded by Ori Schnaps, the site takes a distinctly Israeli approach to your money. In other words, they care about you–and won’t hesitate to tell you about what you’re doing wrong. As the article quotes Schnaps, We’re opinionated. We’re not trying to be your father or your mother. But if you’re trying to pay down credit card debt or buy a house, we help you move in that direction.” Way to go.

One Comment:
One of our favorite all-time reviews from a journalist was basically "I hate this site, because it is right". And while we do try to offer advice in a way that proactive and in your best interest, and we do our best to support people through tough financial decisions, we're also more interested in telling you the truth than just telling you what you want to hear. Part of offering free financial advice means doing our best to help people, and simply giving them watered-down advice that isn't honest is a bad way of doing that.
