Wow was the only way to decribe my trip. I didn’t even know they had rappelling in Israel. It was awesome. Rock on.

I can’t believe you didn’t put pictures of Eilat — it’s like a beach resort. Hotels, bars, clubs — walking around at night is amazing.

You guys had that story about Sumo Wrestlers, and they were floating in the Dead Sea — I didn’t believe it until I went there myself. You can literally read the paper while lying back in the water. It also doesn’t hurt to have hot Israeli women spreading mud all over themselves on the beach!!

The best part of Eilat was definitely the snorkeling — those reefs are freakin’ awesome. And I haven’t even gotten to the underwater museum…

Don’t forget the mega-event during the trip. One night where all of the birthright groups descend on one giant hall, have a performance, and then dance into the night…with the hot Israeli soldiers who join each group for a couple of days.

The video is disappointing it is just tourism footage. There is nothing apart from a short shot of the Kotel to give even the slightest suggestion what the heritage is that we are meant to reclaim, while there are many images, which show exactly what it that heritage is not. The images are all very “now” but the message is essentially ephemeral. This too will pass.
