1. Name: Leat Klingman
2. Born in Tel Aviv
3. Moved to New York in 2003 to do a Masters in Fine Arts at the School of Visual Arts
4. My neighborhood is Prospect Heights and I like it because it is quiet and safe
5. For a living, I teach art at “Gateway”, a school for students with learning disabilities and also Hebrew at 92nd Y as a foreign language.

6. In my spare time, I do my art, (http://www.leat.klingman.org/) which is video performance {finger dancing}.
7. Favorite book: Gulliver’s Travels
8. Favorite quote: something like, I don’t search I find by Picasso
9. Last CD I bought- Carmen
10. Favorite film: Cinema Paradiso
11. Favorite hang out place in New York is my bed; the only time I get to rest
12. Favorite restaurant in New York: Any sushi place will do, preferably a cheap one.
13. Favorite memory from Israel: my family
14. I wish- I could do my art full time

18. A unique experience: when I met the love of my life, here in New York, at the School of Visual Arts at the 2003 Open Studios. I knew he was the one straightaway.
19. Favorite travel destination: Greece, and especially the islands where serenity meets beauty.
20. What I miss about Israel: my family, my friends, the weather.
21. Two Israelis I admire: My grandmother for believing in me and for her inspiring optimism and just anyone who goes after his/her dreams.
