Deals We Love: Bedding and Bath Decor

This week on Deals We Love we’re trying something a little different. The Home Depot is offering some extraordinary deals as part of its “Days of Decor” promotion and we wanted to make sure our readers knew how to take advantage of the deep discounts being offered. We’re highlighting bedding and bath products this week because after a long, hard day of fall maintenance projects, pouring end-of-season concrete slabs or simply weekend woodworking, there’s nothing quite like the comfort of a hot shower and crawling into your own bed.

Why We Love It: Below we’re highlighting a memory foam mattress topper, a duvet cover set, a bath towel set and cotton sheets, but these represent only a small fraction of what’s available during the sale. All bedding and bath decor are discounted up to 35 percent through Sept. 23.

Charcoal 2.5-inch Hybrid Sensorwell Foam Mattress Topper

Enjoy three layers of foam that are designed to envelop your body and support all sleep styles. The top layer is the company’s proprietary Sensorwell foam designed with individual support peaks. The second layer is a charcoal-infused memory foam that naturally helps absorb odors and promotes freshness. The base layer is a firmer foam designed to provide support and pressure relief.

Why We Love It: If you’re not getting the support you need from your current mattress, it’s far more cost-effective to try out a mattress topper before buying a whole new mattress. This one originally retails for around $99 but has been reduced to $74 (25% off) for the Days of Decor promotion.

Patterned 3-Piece Duvet Cover Set

This line of duvet covers and pillowcases is made from imported microfiber yarns, which means it is designed to be super soft. The Days of Decor sale appears to include around 25 different styles and patterns to match even the most discerning aesthetic preferences. According to The Home Depot: “This luxury duvet cover set is expertly stitched for durability to last a lifetime and raises the bar for coziness and elegance.”  The set includes the duvet cover and two matching pillowcases.

Why We Love It: Duvets have almost completely replaced traditional comforters and quilts and, given the fact that they have a replaceable cover, they’re a heck of a lot easier to keep fresh and clean. This line usually retails for around $33 but has been reduced to $23 (30% off) for the Days of Decor promotion.

Bath Towels

These textured towels are 100 percent cotton and woven using a “pique weave” which brings a contemporary look and feel to your bathroom. They are specially combed to remove all but the finest and longest fibers, which The Home Depot says, make them softer than the average towel. They are machine-friendly but should washed in cold water and tumble dried on low to preserve their look and feel.

Why We Love It: These towel sets come with six pieces (shown above) and are designed to be super soft and dry quickly. These sets usually retail for around $40 but have been reduced to $30 (20% off) for the Days of Decor promotion.

400 Thread Count Cotton Sheets

This sheet set is wrinkle resistant and low pilling, which means it will stay soft and smooth after each use and wash. The sheets are designed using a patened “Flexi Fit” technology on the fitted sheet, ensuring it fits snug and tight around your mattress. The fitted sheet fits mattresses from eight to 20 inches. The 400 thread-count gives the sheets a “soft and silky feel,” according to The Home Depot.

Why We Love It: The cotton sateen used in these sheets creates a really soft and warm experience. They usually retails for around $70 but have been reduced to $56 (20% off) for the Days of Decor promotion.
