Country Set to Clean House

Ynet reports the the Knesset has just passed a bill calling for the institution of a National Cleaning Day. This event is slated to occur at some point in the spring around Passover time. Since many people will be engaged in cleaning inside the house anyway (to remove traces of bread and the like), Knesset leaders figured it would be a good time to clean outside the house as well. And for those of us who don’t like to clean anything, at any time, well, this one’s for a good cause–namely to make the country just a bit greener for all of us. Maybe we’ll also become a bit more green-conscious overall.
