Tel Aviv City

Hello World,

As we await winters eventual arrival to NY– not that we really want it to arrive, but these 60 degree days are beginning to give me the chills– we have been perusing the travel sites to find the best airfare for a quick week on the beach in Tel Aviv. Besides hanging out on the lounge chairs drinking Gold Star and eating watermelon, we obviously would like to get the low down on what’s new, cool, and edible in the Middleterranean beach city, when lo and behold this email pops into our inbox:

Hello & Shalom,

I am writing to you regarding a new and exciting project called www.telavivcity.com

Telavivcity.com (Hebrew version) has been online for a few years and launched a new version earlier this year.

Realizing how invaluable a resource like this would be to new Olim and tourists we have spent the last few months creating an English version of the website. Perhaps one of the most exciting things about the site is the “fly” section, which features a bird’s eye view of Tel Aviv pinpointing exactly where specific places can be found, especially in relation to where the person is living or staying…

Yes, the “fly” section is exciting as is the rest of this extremely useful and well-designed website. Good stuff.
