As a part of the 14th International Student Film Festival, the Municipality of Tel Aviv-Yafo is inviting aspiring filmmakers to upload quick, 30-second videos showing their “fun, cool, creative, vibrant or romantic Tel Aviv Moment.” The winning filmmaker takes home an awesome DSLR camera kit, which includes a Canon 60D camera and a 18-55mm zoom SLR lens.

There will be no jury selection for the winning video, instead, the contest relies solely on YouTube views. However, just because it’s on YouTube, don’t expect a kitten stuck in a peanut butter jar to win, as the rules for the contest emphasize shootinin Tel Aviv itself.  We don’t want to tilt the scale by showing you our personal favorites, so instead head on over to youtube.com/telavivmoment and check out the videos for yourself!
