We’d often like to think life was simpler in the 1950s. Israel was just a fledgling country in the midst of an enormous growth spurt and we were focused on building a great place to live. This video, which we got from Road 90, is an Air France ad from 1951 highlighting the virtues of coming to Israel on a 20 hour plane ride from New York. We’re glad the trip now is so much easier, but still a bit nostalgic.
(FYI: The video is pretty long, about 32 minutes, but it’s worth a watch.)
