Berry Sakharof, known as the ‘prince’ of Israeli rock, is making his first appearance in New York City during the Manhattan JCC’s Israel Non-Stop Festival. His first performance (sold out) will be this Wednesday night (04 March) at the JCC, and will be followed by a second show on Thursday night at Le Poisson Rouge. Sakharof is one Israel’s most famed musicians and you won’t want to miss these two incredible evenings of music with the virtuoso guitarist, singer and songwriter.

Another one of Israeli's famed musicians that you maynot want to miss is Kamilya Jubran's performance at Asia Society on June 11th and 12th. An artist rooted in the classical tradition of maqam but gives it a unique contemporary tradition with her hypnotic and passionate singing. Check out the website http://www.muslimvoicesfestival.org for more information on this culturally unique event.
