The title says it all. There’s so much Israeli art coming to New York, we just can’t contain ourselves. Yael Bartana’s debut solo exhibition in New York opens on Sunday (19 October) at P.S. 1 in Long Island City (see this week’s Time Out for full details). The exhibit, featuring five videos of social commentary and criticism, runs through 09 January.
Haaretz reports today that MOMA will be screening videos by Amos Gitai in a retrospective of the director’s documentaries. The screenings run from 25 October-02 November.
