The Dead Sea Scrolls are one of the greatest treasures in Israel and, indeed, in the whole world. Once the closely-held province of scholars, researchers are now in the process of using new technologies to scan the Scrolls and to make them available online to the general public. While the project will take several years to complete, it won’t be too long before you, too, can read these 2,000-year-old manuscripts and start on your own research project.
